A dungeon crawler adventure/rpg centered around carefully managing your resources and making sure you have the right boots for the job. Try to look cool in front of the dungeon denizens, watch that your Confidence Points don't dip too low, and try to escape Boots Dungeon with the Golden Boots. Made for the 2025 Pizza Jam, using the theme "Do you have the right Boots?"

I grossly over-scoped and also didn't use my time efficiently, so I wasn't able to finish even the first level of this ambitious 7-level dungeon. A lot of behind-the-scenes systems and mechanics are technically functional, but are not present in the level I've designed so far. Very few of the encounters are implemented. You probably shouldn't play it yet.

But, as it says on the jam page:

Please just enter whatever you make! Don't worry about perfecting it. Even if your game isnt finished / doesnt work / is just a single screen 160x160 photo of your brother, please enter it! 

So I'm uploading it as-is. If I wake up early enough, I might try to squeeze in another update tomorrow morning before the deadline. Otherwise, I will have to return to it after the jam.
